alright, so we suck at this whole "adding new things to the blog" thing. oh well, get over it... moving on. jamison is still loving his job, even though the site he's at right now is frustrating. joy is still in school, but things are getting busier and she's a little stressed. we are going home on 10.20-22 to spend some time with family. it should be a lot of fun. we're going to talk to our dads and see what they think of the house plans we think we want to build. also, we will try and figure out how we're acutally going to build a house. we haven't completely decided, but we're pretty sure that we're moving up there once joy graduates. staying in azusa is looking to be too expensive. we may go to etheopia during the summer, but that is looking expensive too. (like building a house isn't...) we still ahve time to decide, so that is good. we hope you are all doing well, feel free to comment if you actually read this, it may help fuel the desire to do this more often. have a nice day!

summer is right around the corner, and we are excited. for me that means no classes and some much needed time to relax. i am hoping to find some kind of part time work, but i really just want some time off. i found out recently that i need to have an eight hour a week internship at a church next year, so i am also looking into finding out what all that initials. we are planning to take a week of vacation over our first anniversary, but we aren't sure exactly where we want to go. i am going home for a week or two near the end of july to pick up my parent's exchange students, since they are going to still be on vacation in europe. it should be fun to show them around town and introduce them to the people that i know. this is my last summer before i graduate and have to go into the real world, so i hope it will be fun!

happy new year! this year looks to be a good one for jamison and i. he is still working as an electrician, but due to some new laws, it will be required that he goes to school as well. when he moved down here he wanted to get into an apprenticeship program, but none were available. now, it is required that all electricians that do not have their journeyman card are enrolled in an apprenticeship program. his program hasn't started yet, but soon he will be going to school and on his way to becoming a journeyman electrician, which is his career goal. i have started another semester of classes here at apu. it looks like this semester is going to be more challenging that past semesters, but i am enjoying most of my classes. i am still working in the theater and looking forward to some wonderful shows this semester including the sound of music, the importance of being earnest and joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat. for the summer, i am looking into being an intern with world vision, which would give me some experience that will be helpful if i end up working for a mission organization in the future. it is not a paid internship, so i am still looking for a summer job. overall, this year looks to be a promising and joyful one.
